A reluctant model
18 years ago, Jane and I drove to University Hospital in Denver from our little home along Bear Creek in Idledale. We knew our lives would change forever but had no idea just how profound the change would be. At 10:33 that morning this human entered the world and filled our hearts. She has made our journey so much more beautiful than we ever imagined possible.
She’s an accomplished artist, connoisseur of music, lover of three and four-legged animals and she’s ready to take on the world. Her thoughtful, kind and gentle personality makes her excellent company. Happy Birthday, Sequoia! Thanks for always being my model even though you didn't always want to. I'm so proud to be your Dad!
